Globally, seagrass meadows are in decline due to the combined impacts of climate change and human activities. Although current restoration of seagrasses aim to mitigate meadow decline, success rates are often low. One promising approach towards enhancing seagrass growth is the application of plant growth promoting (PGP) bacteria. My work focusing on the discovery and application of such methods.
